Cow Mosaic

Mosaic made from handmade burnished tesserae. I was pleased with the way the drawing of the cows went, with the lines of tesserae emphasising their bellies. The mosaic is sturdy, set in concrete, with a metal band surround. It could be set in the floor or used as a table top but is not frostproof if left flat, so should be dried and covered or vertical over winter if it's outside.
